Our Club includes a comprehensive computer lab where our Club members
receive learning assistance through our educational enhancement activities.
Club members learn about important job skills such as how to use
Microsoft Word and Excel, graphic design, digital photography, movie
making, web design, music making and more. We even have hands-on
where Club members learn to disassemble and rebuild computers.
All of these activities are taught at age appropriate levels.

Our Fine Art activities includes crafts, drawing, painting, collage making,
clay modeling and much more. Our Club members receive advice and tutoring

 Character Building
Club members learn what it takes to be a person of good character.
Gaining knowledge of what it means to have these characteristics
and practicing good character skills is an important component of
our Character Building Activity. Members are rewarded for
demonstrating good character skills such as honesty, respect,
good manners, trustworthiness, acceptance, commitment and follow
through with our positive behavior "Club Bucks" rewards system.

  •   Leadership

Club members are given the opportunity to participate
in leadership building activities such as Youth of the
Year sponsored by the Microsoft Corporation, Torch
Club, Keystone Club and Junior Staff Program. Helping
youth develop leadership skills and provide opportunities
for planning, decision making and contributing to the
local community is main thrust of these activities.

    Sports, Fitness & Recreation

Club members have the opportunity to work with coaches to
explore interests and learn skills necessary to participate in
a variety of sports. They can elect to participate in our
Boys and Girls Clubs Triple Play "Mind, body and soul" program
which promotes health and fitness. Club members go on field trips
where they skate, bowl and swim. They also visit fun places like
the zoo, art galleries, and water parks where learning becomes fun.

    Health & Life Skills

Our focus at the Club is about age appropriate prevention programs
that deal with today's issues. Passport to Manhood promotes and
teaches responsibility while reinforcing positive behavior in male
Club members ages 11 to 15. Our Act Smart programs focus on
issues that includes drugs, alcohol, bullying, diversity, health,
teen pregnancy, and the need to remain in school and pursue
    a higher education.
